{SYDNEY} BEST SMALL WEDDING VENUE

Summer is always the Australian’s busiest season for wedding. This year, particularly, we have came across several medium to small size weddings. Although there are so many choices of wedding reception venues in Sydney, as for small size weddings (less than 80 guests) it is always a pain in the neck as larger sized ones due to:

  • Minimal spend requirement
  • Not all large venues can provide beautifully partitioned space for a small group
  • Location – does the venue has convenient access to your ceremony?
  • Small but we want it also to be stylish!

PS hears you, so today we would like to introduce couple of our favourite venues that might suit your sweet sized wedding.

Gunner’s Barracks, Mosman

As one of the most popular reception venues in Sydney, Gunner’s Barracks is beautifully located in Mosman, right next to the Georges head lookout. The hidden gem’s dining room can perfectly accommodate approximately 80 guests while the harbour terrace can fit in additional 40ish guests. We love the venue also because its classy heritage sandstone court yard, lower lawn as well as harbour terrace allows you to have an elegant ceremony at the same place.

The Grounds, Alexandria

Loved by many, the grounds is famous for its quality food and coffee. If you would like to hold a rustic cosy style reception, then congratulations, it will be your perfect choice! Depending on the size of the group, you can choose to hold your event either indoor or at the garden area.

The Boat House, Palm Beach

The Boat House is the best choice for a quirky wedding by the beach. And the best part is the basic styling comes with the food as a whole package. Isn’t it awesome that you can save so much time and just have fun?
